For maintenance plans, we require first and last month's payment up front, but prefer an annual payment. You may cancel your plan at any time. Upon cancellation we will hand over control of all your website and all assets such as domain name, third-party accounts, database, or files.
Hosting and exclusions
Will U7 host my site?
Costs for hosting are considered a third-party service and are not included in the maintenance plan. We’ve learned that having our clients maintain ownership of their hosting account is the most seamless way to handle hosting.
If you need help, our experts will coordinate with your hosting provider on your behalf to make sure you get the support you need, and the answers to any questions. If you need to switch your site from one host to another, we can provide a quote.
Other third party costs
As well as hosting, domain names, SSL certificates, premium plugin licenses, and email relay charges are all considered third-party costs and are not included in the maintenance plan.
On your behalf, we can coordinate with third party services. We can use your payment credentials directly, or use our own and recover the costs from you afterwards.
Need extra support?
While our experts are adept at maintaining websites built with many different tools and technology, unexpected issues will almost always occur at some point. This is due to third party code changes that are out of our control – and this is where our support services come into play.
